The film uses PDLC smart-film technology. When electricity flows through it, the liquid crystals inside align instantly — causing the film to turn dark. When power stops, the crystals scatter and the film becomes clear.

This is the same tech used in luxury cars, skyscraper windows, and privacy glass. It’s engineered to switch states in 0.1–1.0 seconds, so there’s no delay — the tint reacts instantly to the button.
